Injury

We can help you rehab your injuries

Contrary to popular belief, pain and injuries do not have to be a part of life and is not simply a sign of aging. More often than not, they are completely preventable and at many times, reversible.

We always hear the common theories for pain such as "not stretching enough, old mattress, shoes, lifting a heavy item,

or bad form during exercise or sports. While these theories can definitely contribute to pain or injury, its not always that simple. Many times, muscle imbalances are the root of the problem. In fact, most of the time you will not even feel mild pain or discomfort until you lost 60% of your relative function. That means you are operating at 40% relative function before you even know a problem exist unless you get properly  assessed.

Systematic Muscular Imbalances are common to us all at some level. If not addressed they typically progress and dramatically affect joints relationships resulting in poor posture, altered joint relationships, limited movement, movement compensation and joint, muscle, nerve pain and deterioration.

Unfortunately, traditional strength and flexibility programs do not appropriately address the imbalances. In fact, they can often reinforce these patterns and increase your risk of injury.

Identifying exactly what created your imbalance is as difficult as answering the question, "what came first, the chicken or the egg?"  In reality, imbalance can potentially begin at a very early age.

No matter where you are at, our assessment methods can identify your muscular imbalance patterns from which we can begin to integrate advanced neuromuscular and soft tissue modalities along with a corrective exercise programing to progress you to optimal performance, movement and decreased risk of jury.

We compliment your current treatment!

We work well with your Dr's and therapist whether it is a special medical circumstance or if you are in rehabilitation. Bridging the gap between rehab and fitness is our specialty. Often times therapist need to focus purely on the actual pain or injury due to time limitations from insurance while we are not limited by insurance so we have the flexibility to work with you more holistically and spend more time on your injury roots and muscle imbalances.
